Vacancy: Product & Sales Support Specialist
LifeMax, South Africa’s leading supplier of exercise medicine and movement science technologies has an employment opportunity available for a motivated Product & Sales Support Specialist who has studied and/or has practical working experience with cardiopulmonary exercise testing and movement science technologies in either an academic or clinical setting.
Purpose of the Position:
As a Product & Sales Support Specialist the successful candidate will be required to assist, support and add value to our customers, sales team and marketing efforts by developing, designing and delivering training and education content.
The position will require a high level of understanding of the features and functionalities of the various systems; the role also includes being the first line of customer contact and support for best of use methods, troubleshooting, servicing, hardware and software familiarization.
The successful candidate must have good communication and presentation skills with a passion for adding value to a customer’s product experience and will be able to confidently communicate unique features and functionalities in line with latest research and trends. Training will be provided through inhouse mentorship, attendance at international partner, manufacturer training workshops and by completing product specific online training courses.
The successful candidate should have a strong desire to perform the tasks required of the position with exceptional attention to detail. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
Degree or Diploma in Exercise, Sport, Fitness or Human Movement Science (minimum NQF level 6). Teaching or lecturing experience that included developing unique or new course content. Technical and/or practical experience working with cardiopulmonary and/or movement science technologies. Academic or clinical experience conducting cardiopulmonary and/or movement science assessments in a laboratory setting. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required. Strong customer service skills. Willing to travel both nationally and internationally (valid passport a must). Strong work ethic with a proven successful track record. • Organizational and time management skills (a must). Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English & Afrikaans) TOTAL PACKAGE: Market related package based on level of experience and qualifications.
