Stance, Gait and Force Distributionzebrisgait

The FDM-T system for stance and gait analysis with integrated force distribution measurement consists of a treadmill ergometer with integrated and calibrated measuring sensors. The sensor element itself consists of numerous high-quality capacitive force sensors. On a treading area of 150 x 50 cm the sensor unit comprises more than 5000 pressure / force sensors.

Using especially developed technology the movement of the treadmill is compensated so that completely stable gait and roll-off patterns can be analyzed.

PDM Multifunction Force Measuring Plate

The zebris multifunction force measuring plate operates with 1504 capacitive force sensors arranged in a 32x47 cm matrix. It allows analysis of the static and dynamic force and pressure distribution under the feet / shoes when standing and walking.

The areas of application cover simple and fast dynamic roll-off analyses and static load distributions. These can be used to determine foot function. Feedback and coordination training with games exercises as well as equilibrium analyses are also possible.

Interactive FDM-T Treadmill System

Walking or running on conventional treadmills often leads to rigid, stereotype gait patterns. These are overcome with the FDM-T System by including jumping movements, varying stride lengths, or other variations in movement. In this way, one's coordination ability can be trained and at the same time, the effect of the training increased. During the training it is possible to set the runner useful exercises, where certain step sequences and running techniques are specified and automatically monitored. Using the FDM-T System it is considerably easier to train movement sequences that correspond with natural movement patterns.

zebris treadmills with integrated force sensors have a large variety of application possibilities and also permit, for instance, the optimum choice and fit of sport shoes or orthopedic shoe inserts. The basic system can be selected from different treadmill ergometers tailored to the respective purpose of application.

Assessment of the mobility of the cervical and lumbar spine

With special triple markers based on miniature ultrasound transmitters, simple and rapid function tests can be carried out on the cervical, lumbar spinal column orthe entire torso. The quality of performance of the movements as well as all coupled movements are shown in phase diagrams taking into consideration the speed of the movements. The ability of the patient to reproduce movements or movement restrictions can be seen in the coefficient of variability.

When it comes to healing an injury, a proper evaluation of the root cause is necessary before positive change can occur.

OPTOGAIT is an innovative system of analysis that brings a new philosophy of assessment to injury prevention and rehabilitation. It is designed to develop a specific and customized training program for the patient, based exclusively on a precise analysis of their injury's root cause. By acquiring the fundamental parameters of their patient's gait, OPTOGAIT allows physical therapists, doctors, and researchers to quantitatively measure underlying mechanical inefficiencies and target any problematic areas.
